SR3BBS

SR3BBS was built as one of the first Polish Packet Radio BBS's.
First tests took place in the spring of 1992. In October of the same year, after receiving a permission, its continous service was started.
Originally the equipment contained a XT-10MHz PC with a one (sic!) 360 Kb FDD. However, the used software was not too sophisticated (MSYS) and one system-diskette was enough to put nearly 40 mails and bulletins. Soon we had a better equipment.

SR3BBS was moved to Lubon near Poznan in 1993, and this has been its permanent location till now.

Currently the system is running on F6FBB v5.15 + G8BPQ-NODE.

The hardware consists of:
Komputer 386-DX-40 / 16 Mb RAM / HDD 330 Mb (SCSI), BigTower case,
4 x TNC-2B controllers,,
TRX - 144.830, 1.2 kb - 12 W Out (USER-Port)
TRX - 438.412,5/430.012,5, 1.2 kb - 5 W Out (Link with SR3DPO)
TRX - 438.475,0/430.075,0, 14.4 kb - 15 W Out (Link with SR3ZJA)
TRX - 438.100,0/430.500,0 1,2 kb - 10 W Out

An antenna-set, unfortunately placed quite low, completes the whole equipment

The whole equipment has been contributed by its users.
